Terms of Service
OUR SERVICE HOURS:
Pet sitting visits and dog walking will be scheduled between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Overnight house sitting will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
AFTER HOUR VISITS:
We will make every effort to accommodate your request should you require pet visits outside of our normal service hours. An additional fee may be charged depending on the time of the visit.
SERVICE AREA:
Each of our service areas includes a radius of 10 miles. Servicing areas outside of the 10 mile radius may incur an additional per mile surcharge.
SERVICE ESTIMATES:
Rates will be estimated during our get acquainted visit if you are a new client.
If you are an existing client, rates will be estimated when your new service is scheduled.
MINIMUM VISITS:
Pets (cats, birds and small animals) must be seen a minimum of 1 time per day.
Indoor dogs, without outdoor access, must have a minimum of 2 visits per day.
ADVANCE SERVICE RESERVATIONS:
We suggest that you book our services 2 weeks prior to the service date.
Short- notice bookings (less than 24 hours) will be accepted based on the availability of our sitters.
TELEPHONE & E-MAIL RESERVATIONS:
Any service reservations after our initial get acquainted visit, and if your key is on file, will be accepted by telephone (714) 907.0012 or by e-mail at reservations@there4upetsitters.com.
CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATIONS:
Please confirm your reservation by telephone, (714) 907.0012, directly to a There 4 U representative. By confirming your reservation directly with our representative by telephone makes sure that your pet’s care will continue after you leave.
BOOKING CHANGES:
Any changes to your reserved services will be accommodated based on the availability of our sitters.
EXTENDED SERVICE REQUESTS:
Should you have to be away longer than your scheduled service dates, please contact a There 4 U representative by telephone (714) 907.0012.
We only accept service extensions by direct telephone confirmation. This is mandatory, your pet’s well being depends on our communication.
EARLY RETURN:
Please notify us of your early return 24 hours in advance of your return date and you will receive credit for the unused service time/days.
If you notify us of your early return less than 24 hours in advance of your return we cannot offer a credit for your early return.
RETURN HOME NOTIFICATION:
Please contact us by telephone, (714) 907-0012, within 1 hour after you have returned home. You can call us any time, no matter what hour, and if you don’t reach a representative leave a message and we will return your call.
CHECKING ON YOUR PET WHILE YOU ARE AWAY:
We invite you to call us, (714) 907.0012, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM to check on your pets. We may be out of the office when you call, so please leave a message and we’ll return your call as soon as we return.
KEY RETURN:
We recommend that your key remain in the There 4 U security file for future use of our services. This will also provide you with the convenience of making telephone and/or e-mail reservations. Also, you will avoid any key pick up or drop off costs.
Should you desire that your key be returned, we will return these by certified mail or in person within 7 days after the service is completed.
PAYMENTS:
NEW CLIENTS: Upon booking your pet care services and/or your house sitting service payment of 50% of the estimated bill is due. The remaining balance will be due on the first day of service.
ESTABLISHED CLIENTS: Payment of our invoice is due and payable in 7 days after the invoice date.

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation of reserved services may result in a fee depending on when you notify us of your cancellation. When you have reserved our time, we block out your service time and service days and we may turn down other business that is requesting your service time/dates. Therefore, we may not be able to recover our lost time should you cancel too close to the service date.
Cancellation prior to 24 hours of your reserved pet sitting/dog walking service dates will not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellation after 24 hours prior to your reserved pet sitting/dog walking service dates will result in a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reserved service billing.
Cancellation of overnight house sitting services with 8 days notification will not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellation of overnight house sitting services with less than 7 days notification will result in a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reserved service billing.
